What should I do to get ready for the TOLC?

The first step is looking up the type of TOLC you need to take: you can find this information on the admission notice of your degree course. For support get in touch with the International Student Office.

Once you know the type of TOLC needed, check the topics of your TOLC on the corresponding Structure and Syllabus pages:

Check the Syllabus the knowledge that will be assessed in your test and compare those topics with the subjects you have studied at school. High-school-level books are a baseline for your preparation to take the TOLC. 

 

How can I practice for a TOLC?

Log in to your Practice Area to find:

  • The test simulations, in the Simulazioni dei test section
  • The sample tests in the Materiali per esercitarsi section.

TOLC simulations are useful to become familiar with the test environment, managing the allotted time and the test sections.
