The TEST ARCHED is required for admission to bachelor's and master's degrees in Architecture and Civil engineering-architecture.
The universities schedule and hold the TEST ARCHED following the Decreto Ministeriale (Italian Ministerial Decree) guidelines: they notify on the admission notice how to book the test, the test format and the dates.
The TEST ARCHED can be held in two different formats:
- TEST@HOME: remotely
- TEST@UNI: in university classrooms.
Booking a TEST ARCHED
If you are interested in a degree course that requires the TEST ARCHED, follow these steps:
- Read the Decreto Ministeriale of the official MUR (Ministry of University and Research) website
- Check all the required procedures on the admission notice for your degree course on the university website.
When reading the admission notice, pay attention to:
- The format chosen by your university: @HOME or @UNI
- The booking procedure
- The booking deadline
- The test entry time.
You can book the test only on your university website.
You can take the TEST ARCHED in more than one university only if the tests are held on different dates.
For instance:
- If you are interested in university A and university B and they hold the TEST ARCHED on different days, you can book and take both the test with university A and the test with university B
- If you are interested in university A and university B but they hold the TEST ARCHED on the same day, you must choose only one of them.
You will be able to use your TEST ARCHED result to apply only to the university that held your test.
