L’APP per il TOLC@CASA

Per fare un TOLC@CASA è necessario installare un’APP che permette di svolgere il test. A partire dalla sessione di luglio 2024 tutti i TOLC si terranno su VMware Horizon; l’APP adottata finora, vale a dire SEB (Safe Exam Browser), non verrà più usata.
Horizon è un’app che garantisce standard di sicurezza, stabilità ed efficienza ancora più elevati. Dopo un periodo di rodaggio in cui si è dimostrata affidabile e versatile, diventa l’APP unica per i TOLC@CASA.

SEB non è più in uso per i TOLC

Nel giugno 2021 CISIA iniziò a usare SEB, dopo 3 anni questa piattaforma viene definitivamente archiviata a favore di un sistema più in linea con le tecnologie attuali, le esigenze delle università, le necessità di studenti e studentesse.

Cosa c’è da sapere sull’APP Horizon

• L’APP Horizon è compatibile con i sistemi Windows e Apple che soddisfino i requisiti indicati su guide.cisiaonline.it
• per poter fare il TOLC@CASA è necessario scaricare e installare Horizon sul computer portatile su cui si sosterrà la prova dall’Area riservata test CISIA entro il giorno prima del test
• Horizon funziona solo quando assieme al test e non può essere avviata da sola
• coloro che hanno installato SEB devono comunque scaricare e installare Horizon per poter sostenere il test.

The APP for TOLC@HOME

To take a TOLC@CASA you need to install an APP that allows you to do the test. As of the July 2024 session, all TOLCs will be held on VMware Horizon; the APP used so far, i.e. SEB (Safe Exam Browser), will no longer be used.
Horizon is an app that guarantees even higher standards of security, stability and efficiency. After a running-in period in which proved it to be reliable and versatile, it became the one-stop APP for TOLC@HOME.

SEB is no longer in use for TOLCs

In June 2021, CISIA started using SEB, and after 3 years this platform was finally shelved in favour of a system more in line with current technologies, the needs of universities, and the needs of students.

What you need to know about the Horizon APP

• the Horizon APP is compatible with Windows and Apple systems that meet the requirements indicated on "TOLC@HOME room configuration, testing and network requirements"
• to take the TOLC@HOME you must download and install Horizon on the laptop you will use to take the test from the CISIA student area. This has to be done at least a day before the test itself
• Horizon only works with the test and cannot be started on its own
• those who installed SEB must still download and install Horizon in order to take the test.
